Right….big update! We’ve been a bit quiet on the blog, because we’ve been really busy making an awesome game for you people. IT IS NEARLY FINISHED. Check it out.
First thing to note: we changed the name, from Drive Forever to Forever Drive. Long (and boring) legal story. Here’s a logo.
So. For those who don’t know – Forever Drive is our new game, an arcadey futuristic racer, set in a massive online city. You can build your own tracks and share them with the world, or just zoom through the city in pimped-out, customizable cars. It’s sort of like Outrun-meets-SimCity, in the future, online. We honestly couldn’t be more excited!
Right. So what does the game look like? How about something like….this?
One thing to note. These are real, dude! Straight screenshots from the game – no photoshop trickery. These are all taken from the alpha version running on iPad 1 and iPhone 4, and it also runs on an iPhone 3GS really rather nicely thank you very much.
Er – here’s some more!
As you can see, we’ve got kind of a lot done since last time you saw it. We’re now at the beta test stage. There’s still a little polishing and balancing to do, plus some bug fixes and sound design, but we’re very close. Pretty soon we should have some kind of video trailer out, and then you can really see it in action
